Whiplash

Whiplash is a common term used for neck sprains or back sprains caused by car accidents, and it certainly isn't uncommon. Even a car accident at 5 mph can cause a whiplash to your spine, but most people do not feel the effects until 3 days later!

And to make matters worse, the majority of people fear going to the emergency room immediately after the car accident because of the expensive bill they might receive if the insurance doesn't cover it.

We believe that every person involved in a car accident should be evaluated by a health professional and chiropractors are specialists in whiplash injuries. which cause damage to the spine and the surrounding muscles.

Commonly after an injury, you will feel stiffness and soreness that progressively gets worse until the third day, making it difficult to move your neck and back. Over time, the swelling will go down, making it easier to move your neck and back but the pain will come and go several times a day and can last for months. The sooner you start treatment the sooner the pain will go away and the less likely you are to suffer permanent damage.
